A lot of things are still as they were on the Windows version, so bear that in mind. You'll probably need to set the game asset folder by modifying the settings.xml file manually with the asset path as the Folder Browser Dialog does not show hidden directories (which Steam is installed under defaultly) It would be best to disable the 'Use override folder' and 'Create override folder dummies (for incompatible mods)' while the mod_override folder is non-functional Such as showing files in explorer, but the other functions such as installing mods/extracting files.
